A dramatic remodel uses bold color to reinvigorate this Back Bay condo
This 3500 sq. ft. condo was renovated to alter the architectural style and décor while utilizing many of the pre-existing materials in the unit. The kitchen features new traditional country style cabinetry, and a dramatic red and orange quartzite countertop and backsplash. A wall in the kitchen was removed and replaced with a counter and banquet, creating a transition space between the kitchen and dining area. A bar was added off of the formal entry, creating another informal gathering space within the unit. The existing floors were refinished with a dark ebony stain, which, in conjunction with the soft colors used for the walls and ceiling, adds another level of contrast and depth throughout the space.
